Buyers aged 35 or under purchasing a first permanent home in Portugal may qualify for full IMT and Stamp Duty exemption on properties up to EUR 330,539, with partial exemption on properties up to EUR 660,982 (2026 thresholds, reset each January). Eligibility will be assessed in your report if Portugal is your chosen country.

For mortgage buyers: non-resident mortgages in France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal are typically available at 60 to 70% loan-to-value, requiring a larger deposit than buyers may expect from their home market. Your report will include relevant context for the purchase country.
